Goodbye, Little Guy Max!
This morning we roll out at 6 a.m.
to meet your new family halfway ~
they’ll take you across this
great country to see new sights
experience new adventures
you’ll embrace a whole new crew
shelter them from storms
blanket them in warmth
love them as much as
we have loved you!
Happy trails, Max!

Little Max is absolutely adorable and I hope his new home and new family will take him on many new adventures. I have to admit I am wondering about the adventures he has ALREADY had???

Kim,
I know selling Little Max is bittersweet since you’ve shared so many memories together. He’s your home away from home. Next to moving out of your house, this has to be the toughest letting go you’ll experience. Peace.

Did you leave a stack of blank self-addressed post cards on Max’s counter so he could keep you up-to-date on his adventures? This is a poignant farewell.

Oh, I like Humbleswede’s idea of self-address post cards. If you didn’t, you could always make them up in your imagination! What a great children’s picture book it would be: Travels with Max!

Ahhhh, I love this sweet poem saying goodbye to what looks to be a fantastic trailer. Plus, I’ve always loved the name Max. Hugs! Safe travels!

Kim, what a sweet Little Guy Max poem. I love the personification of this beautiful camper. He will “shelter them from storms” and more. Precious.
