The weekend wasn’t without rain (4 inches, according to our rain gauge) from the hurricane here in middle Georgia, but by Sunday afternoon, the temperatures were too pleasant to stay indoors. I brought my paints outside and enjoyed some time sitting on the porch. It was a wonderful time to get a jump start on painting some postcards for next month’s poetry exchange. Some weekends are largely unproductive in terms of getting things done that need to be done. This was one of those.
And that’s okay.
Seventy degrees
Watercoloring weather

I love mornings like that!

With the weather so pleasant and the wind chimes singing, what could be better? Thanks for reading!

Kim,
I still need to send out this month’s postcards! in my defense, I’ve read a verse novel every day the parts week. And it rained here all day Sunday. The dogs did not approve!

Glenda, October is a nice, wide window of opportunity to mail, so you are not late a day. You are busy reading. I’ve been painting and decoupaging. I need to get busy digitizing photos, but that’s not as much fun. It’s great we can stay busy doing things we enjoy.
