I ordered Instructions for Traveling West, too. It arrived Monday. I’ll read in snippets. I have lots of novels on my TBR. I’d welcome a snowy day where I can lie in the couch, look out into flurries swirling, curl up w/ Stanley, and read.
Glenda, I think our small Stafford group would enjoy meeting somewhere in the world for an extra long weekend of reading and writing. My Instructions for Traveling West arrived yesterday, along with The Orange and Other Poems; Diary of a Tuscan Bookshop; A Rebellion of Care; and The Lion Tracker’s Guide to Life, but I’m still reading Theo of Golden. Serious question: do I keep dreams of retiring someday to read more, or keep working so I can afford the books? It’s a real dilemma in a town without a robust library.

Retire. Travel. Check out ebooks through Libby. I think Libby attaches to the state library system here. Do interlay loan.
