that moment when you
see your book cover
for the first time with
your group of writing
friends and hold back tears
for all the waiting,
for all the writing,
for all the hours spent
anticipating
what you always but
never dreamed so real
and possible and
finally right here
here it is, set to
launch September 2
stay tuned for the link
to our stories, to
our wounds, to our hearts,
to our healing words
Cheers for Words That Mend!

You wrote exactly what I felt! The anticipation. I can’t quite believe this is coming true. I am so honored to be a part of it.

Thank you, Margaret! I got the sense that we were all that way. I’ve never known us to be so speechless as when the big reveal happened — I was scared I’d ugly cry from all the joy if I opened my mouth. Like meeting a baby for the first time. I, too, am honored to be a part of this group and this book!

Kim, congratulations on all the wonderful words that mend which you have shared in this new book! I am so excited for the big reveal, and all your exciting ideas for sharing this gift with the world are so inspiring to all of us. I love the anaphora here:
It seems to elongate the work and show more fully the waiting and the writing hours…
