I adore the play on the word mice with “micentennial” – what a fab haiku to commemorate this found, “new-again-to me” art. Great way to celebrate this treasure.

OH, my what a treasure! And look at that artwork–the signature and date, the mouse eyeing his cheese, the precious grass blades. It is perfection, and the haiku even better–almost five decades later.

So precious, Kim – do you remember making it? Even then your flair for creativity and whimsy was alive! The haiku is perfect, with the invention of ‘”micentennial” – 1976 being our bicentennial celebration. So clever, and so, so cute.

I do not remember making this, but I do remember my stamped leather bracelet. I know this came from somewhere in the village in a booth at a festival of some sort.
