Slice of Life Challenge – March 16 – Fingerprint Art Haiku

I went home this past weekend to visit – and Dad has been hard at work cleaning out his attic. He‘d found a little treasure for me.

  1. OH, my what a treasure! And look at that artwork–the signature and date, the mouse eyeing his cheese, the precious grass blades. It is perfection, and the haiku even better–almost five decades later.

  2. So precious, Kim – do you remember making it? Even then your flair for creativity and whimsy was alive! The haiku is perfect, with the invention of ‘”micentennial” – 1976 being our bicentennial celebration. So clever, and so, so cute.
