I. ADORE. THIS. I am a big fan of the pantoum and memoir in verse – voila! – here is both, and enchanting as it gets. Especially love the not hugging Meema before going after the ice cream sandwich one time – YIKES. I can so hear a scolding (but with love and good humor… no pun intended…)

Thank you, Fran! So many wonderful memories of visiting grandparents – I sure did get a scolding over that attempted ice cream sandwich. I had to put it back and wait awhile until I got my priorities in order. Oh, the memories of carefree childhood and the way they come back just like yesterday.
