Souls of Women
My life is filled with the souls of women.
They made pasta and Alfredo sauce, bought chips,
building a life we knew was fleeting.
It’s nice to know there are people out there, even if they are not.

I really love the work of Hannah Rosenberg. She popped up on Instagram (there are some redeeming features of that app) and I was hooked. She gets to the heart of so many everyday moments of friendship and being a woman…every poem I read feels like it is speaking directly to me. Thank you for featuring some lines today that make me laugh “they made pasta and Alfredo sauce, bought chips.” Wonderful!

I love seeing the unpaid labor of women celebrated. The paradox n that last line is perfect. I’ll be thinking about it all day, I’m sure. I concur w/ both Margaret’s and Giovanna’s comments. I need some Hannah this morning.
