beneath 

the moss-cloaked oaks 

in the calming peace 

of a misty

husband slumbering 

dogs rolled up tight, snoozing 

fresh coffee steaming, swirling 

blanketed silence 

reminding me 

that we are 

among the few 

who know  

this: 

there is 

no Black Friday deal 

worth more
